| As the first man-made fiber that is invented and industrialized by our country's scientific researcher, the soybean fiber owns much excellent property and then is regarded as "artificial cashmere".The soybean fiber comes from soybean draff. As a country with abundant soybean, it is very important for us to study and develop the soybean fabric. The study of soybean fiber has been listed in the "national torch project" and "national project 'on key new product".During the process of soybean products development, much problems arise and hinder its spreading. Among those problems, hairiness problem will be mainly discussed in the dissertation. Work been done are as follows:(1)Since yarn hairiness originates from the spinning procedure, the spinning was paid more attention. A new spinning method, sirospun is applied to reduce the soybean yarn hairiness in the thesis. The test result shows the method is successful. The hairiness on the soybean sirospun yarn decrease steeply compared with that on the ring spun yarn, especially for the hairiness above 3mm.(2)Because twist is one of the most important factor that affect the yarn hairiness, the relation between the twist and strength of ringspun yarn and sirospun yarn is analysed, got the critical twist. The conclusion is the reference for the next chapter. On the basis of smaller critical twist, siro spinning is advantageous than the ring spun on the cost.(3)Adapt the mathematic method to search the optimum technics for the sirospun. Some equations are acquired and tested, found theoptimum twist is similar to the critical twist.(4)Besides the siro spinning, core spinning is discussed in the dissertation. The soybean core-spun yarn with Nylon and PTT filament is produced and the change of hairiness is analysed. The experiment prove the core-spun method is advisable and feasible to resolve the hairiness problem.(5)The study of yarn serve fabric and garment. Based on the former study on.the hairiness, the pilling property of soybean fabric is studied. With different mixing ratios twist factor, spinning method, the soybean fabric is classified.
