The project of AnShun yam powder processing is one of The Spark Programme applied by GuiZhou province. It aims at digging up the area resource predominance of yam producing and processing, and developing montanic economy in GuiZhou. The function of yam product line is processing yam into powder for imitated food, drink and can. Designing and researching the monitoring and control system has importance signification for the project implement. According to the product line requirement for healthy, high temperature and high press, monitoring and control of product line for yam rapid dissolve powder system was developed by computer control technology, fieldbus technology, data acquisition technology and so on. The whole scheme of system was designed. The proposed monitoring and control system was introduced as follow: field bus, signal sensor, data acquisition module configuration software. The whole monitoring and control system program was designed with MCGS software. The configuration program mainframe and some control segment in rapid dissolve powder processing product line were schemed out in detail. According to specialty of some control segment, PLC and ADAM module were used to implement the data acquisition processing and control. Some closed loop control segments were also designed by PLC. Their circuit diagram and ladder diagram program were worked out and debugged in simulation situation.According to the indefinite combination of monitoring and control object, kind and quantity, a new data acquisition module was developed by MCS51, it can communicate with computer by RS-485 protocol, consists many digit and analog I/O port, can be programmed by MCGS configuration software. It has solved the trouble of customizing data acquisition module on the base of data acquirement object application situationThe paper purpose is to accomplish yam processing product line prophase design in laboratory, and do experiment and theory preparative work. The project scheme implement course, including the demand analysis of data acquisition object, data acquisition module whole scheme, circuit diagram, demand system, module interior program design and module drive grogram in MCGS, has been stated in detail and debugged in experiment. A good foundation was built for project next step work.
