Research Of Stability Monitoring System Of LIXI Tailing Dam

Tailing storeroom is the very important establishment of production and environmental protection in mining enterprises, the security of tailing dam affects directly the steady progress of mining, environmental protection, the security of the downriver people's life and property. So stability operation monitoring of tailing dam is attached importance to increasingly both at home and abroad. According to safety statute and design specification about tailing dam, applying advanced achievement of this field synthetically, combining tailing storeroom project of Lixi, this paper achieves Real-time monitoring and analysis to primary items of stability operation, viz. soakage line, hole hydraulic pressure, establishes the subsystem of evaluation system, it can insure stability operation of tailing dam and improve administrant level.On the basis of expounding administrant actuality of tailing dam's operation in our country, this paper discusses systematically automatic software's inner principle and method of seepage monitoring according to the actual conditions of its design.On the basis of analysis of tailing dam's stability, this paper establishes seepage monitoring model, confirms the factor influencing tailing dam stability and monitors it, thereby managers can grasp the basic state of tailing storeroom.The hardware, has adopted the distributed data collecting system; Data transmission, has adopted more advanced technology GPRS and GSM at present. It is one of the new developing subjects in recent years that GPRS and GSM is applied to dam body safety monitoring. A lot of researches and experiments indicate that GPRS and GSM has many advantages over traditional surveying techniques in dam body seepage monitoring. However, the major drawback is its high costs, it can't be popularized and applied in actual project. This paper describes a new system for monitoring dam body seepage with a unite of GPRS and GSM .The experiments of dam body seepage monitoring with this system have proved its effectiveness, it can reduce the cost of the monitoring system greatly. It is a feasible unite of GPRS and GSM system applied in tailing dam safety monitoring.The software has used VB as the exploitation language, Windows 2000 asdeveloping platform. The software can save and analyze collected data, forecast security of dam body, enable managers grasp first-hand information, and offer reliable basis stability operation of the tailing storeroom.
