So, we should lead various kinds of advanced technological means into the protection and administration of the ecological environment of mining area, fully utilize modern high-new science and technology to serve the e improvement of ecological environmental of area, and then promote the regional sustainable development of mining area.The coal industry is a kind of special trade, because of the development of coal resources, the very serious and complicated ecology and environmental problems have been brought. There are many kinds of factor, which influence the ecology and environment, the degree are different. So, we must set up a index system which includes correlating, complementary indexes, the system should have level quality and structure. Only I this way can we carry out scientific and objective assessment on ecology environmental quality of mining area.Based on analyzing present situation and essential factor of Ming area' eco-environment, this paper sets up assessment index system, assessment method, forewarning index system and forewarning method of Ming area eco-environment, The assessment and forewarning index system constructed in this paper takes the reality of ecological environment of mining area into consideration, it has relatively strong suitability; The appraisal and forewarning model is proved to be effective through practical test and it is relatively advanced, this paper's achievements in scientific research can provide scientific basis for protection and administration of the ecological environment of mining area, and there are of certain theory significance and current significance.
