Design And Realization Of Pattern Preparation System Of Computerized Flat Knitting Machine

Computerized flat knitting machine is a kind of high-technology electro-machine knitting equipment., which integrates Computer Numerical Control (CNC), electron technology, mechanical design, motor driver technology and knitting technics. Almost all kinds of knitting pattern and textile cloth style can be designed by pattern preparation system.At first, this paper explains relative concept of computerized flat knitting machine and its pattern preparation system. Then the paper expatiates on domestic and foreign present situations of pattern preparation system and gives the goal of this paper and the main content of the paper. Secondly, the paper analyzes the function of the pattern preparation system, synthesizes the latest new-tech and textile technics of the world, adopts the object-oriented design method to make the whole project of the pattern preparation system. Form the analysis of the above, detailed introduction of the key and important modules is given.This pattern preparation system includes graphic editor system, adjustment of parameters and compiler. The main point in system design includes:(1) The graphic editor part provides a convenient and powerful graphic editor system which includes graphic input, edit, output and display. Considering the trait of the function of this system, a new program for graphic editor system which based on object-oriented and multi-layer concept is brought out. Adopting drawing layer, designed pattern is divided into five layers which are independent also dependent. Establishing proper class mechanism in the system, therefore the system realizes the layer-management successfully.(2) The adjustment of parameters includes knitting parameter and option lines. The option lines provide convenient assistant parameters adjustment and useful hint for users. So requirement in memorizing the signs of option lines is declined.(3) The paper classifies the knitting element based on the structure of computerized flat knitting machine and knitting technics. According to the knitting element library provides by the system, user can recompose the knitting sings flexibly. Design flexibility is assigned to user and efficiency also improved.(4) Artistic conception drawing, program instruction and NC codes are produced automatically by the complier.
