The mould is one of the key devices of continuous casting machine, and the yield and quality of continuous casting machine mainly depend on the oscillation of mould. Therefore, it is quite significant to design an oscillation monitoring and analysis system of mould. The development and current situation of continuous casting mould oscillation and its monitoring technology at home and abroad is introduced in the dissertation. The whole scheme of system is based on both the acquirement of mould oscillation equipment and the analysis of basic rule and technologic parameter of mould oscillation. The system is designed in the application background of a domestic large steel enterprise.The whole scheme and the design of hardware and software are introduced in the dissertation in detail. Based on the analysis of continuous casting mould, position of monitoring points which can truly show the mould oscillation are determined. The eddy current displacement sensor which has sensitive response for low-frequency oscillation can directly measure displacement of mould oscillation without contacting the mould. At the same time, it is solved by fixing a standard testing object on the mould that the surface quality of mould would reduce measurement precision of the eddy current displacement sensor. The synchronous data acquisition card is used to acquire all monitoring point data, and it is helpful for the analysis of mould Synchronous oscillation. Windows operation system and VC++ 6.0 is chosen as development platform, and the database technology of SQL Sever applied in system. The software scheme is built on it. Software function modules include data management module, data acquisition module and data analysis module.A new data management scheme of cooperating data management with database system and file system is put forward in the dissertation. It is successfully applied in system. Respective advantages of database system and file system is adequately in data management is made full use of. The new data management scheme is suitable for the system with large data acquisition. It avoids using large memory and continually operating database.Frequency, amplitude, and phase-difference of mould oscillation can be gotten in system by analyzing practical data of mould oscillation. They are the important performance evaluation criterion of mould oscillation. In addition, technologic parameter of the mould oscillation can be gotten in system based on theory analysis of the basic rule and technologic parameter of the mould oscillation. These technologic parameters of the mould oscillation can be used to optimize continuous casting production.System has been validated by the application. The result of data analysis is accurate. It satisfied the need of customers and was pride by the customs.
