Appearance Simulation Design And Software Development On The Yarn And Fabric Of Silk Filament

China has a long history of silk production, its output is two-third of the whole world. With the development of the market economy, silk production is more and more popular with the customers. Nowadays, there are many kinds of fabric CAD system on the market. However, they are not suitable to simulate silk fabrics. As a result, developing the CAD system of silk fabric is becoming the key question to many developers.On the basis of the prevenient study, this paper do some studies on the simulation design of the silk filament yarn and fabric by software system. During the process of the silk filament simulation, author establish math model of the single-thread and two-thread yarn. and construct its surface equation by the way of geometry .In this way, we can detrude variational disciplinarian about silk yarn image pixel. Then we do some disposal to the yarn surface pels by establishing RGB color room ,so as to achieve the different illumination effect of the dark and bright light. In some extent, appearance simulation of the silk filament has come ture.During the process of the silk fabric appearance simulation design, the author added three-dimension design on the base of two-dimension, considering various factors which affect fabric appearance. In the process of simulation design,the developer should try to show the high and low effect of the fabric surface and different effect of light and dark silk fabric appearance. By developing silk fabric three-dimension model, author put forward the method which can dispose image by pels and achieve automatic describing form and designing silk filament yarn and design silk fabric by the programme of visual basic 6.0.This is a new direction for fabric appearance simulation design in the way which build math model form research image pixel.
