The Research And Design Of NC Simulation Testing System

With the development of NC machining technology, NC system has been widely applied in the modern industrial production field. Before applying in the practical production, NC system must be tested time and again on the NC devices which have compatible interfaces. However, NC devices have high price and there're some volatile factors when NC system is working under the practical operation, which hamper the testing and operation process. Based on the problems mentioned above, the thesis puts forward a method that adopting NC testing system to replace some functions of the NC devices in the test process of NC system. The author independently completes the software platform design on PC.Based on the analysis of objective functions and design principles, this thesis introduces the overall structure and conceives sofeware system structure and hardware platform of NC testing system. By analyzing the input and output signals of NC system,the author builds the software model of NC machine simulation testing object and draws geometric components of machine software model with third-party software.After analyzing the machine kinematic characteristics,the author establish the machine motion model and implement the machine real-time process simulation with the technology of OpenGL,meanwhile establish workpiece geometry model by space segmentation to simulate the process of cutting and detecte collision of tool.Besides,the NC testing system software dynamic simulate machining path, feedback coordinates,analyze speed and acceleration data.These functions strengthen the test function of NC testing system.The running results of the simulation testing system and 05M CNC have showed that the system has good real-time effectivity, interaction and visualization. The analysis function can test interpolation output data conveniencely. This thesis validates that the designed system has reached its expected functions and control requirements,it provides an effective and applied software platform for the test of NC system.
