The main idea of this article is to discuss the slippage performance and testing methods of silk woven fabric. We chose fixed-load method ,fixed-slippage method and simulating stitch method to test slippage performance of warp and weft separately, analyze and testify the influence caused by the factors such as fabric structure, density of warp and weft yarn, fabric density , tightness, weight of one square meters and so on. Through most of the experience, we can get the result that fixed-load method can express the quantity value of slippage because of its convenient testing methods and easy controlling process. *The paper adopted fixed-load method with different loads to test 14 different kinds of thin silk fabrics in order to get suitable fixed-load values. The experience testified that slippage value is the direct index during testing, the ratio of elongation value and slippage value can turn to be relative index, but it can not be the gist of slippage performance testing. At the same time, under the circs of not influencing testing result, this ratio optimizes also improves the fixed-load samples and method.The paper also discussed a new method of picking up datum from slippage performance testing, that is observe the linear changes in drawing stitch end by SEM to get picture elements of the slippage, then converse the fact warp and weft slippage value and area by universal analytical software. Through the picture elements of fabric width, we get another index to express the slippage of silk textiles.
