With the development of society as well as the raise of the living level and civilization, people have a higher demand on the cleaning of environment, equipment and household. Superfine fibers are used widely for its outstanding performance, and cleaning cloths of superfine fiber is one of its uses. This subject mainly researches on cleaning property of knitted cloths made of superfine fibers.Cleaning property mainly refers to the adsorption of knitted cloth for the solid and liquid. However, other factors such as static electricity, quick drying and abrasion resistance also influence its cleaning property. Five different kinds of knitted cloths made of superfine fibers are studied by testing their properties including the Air permeability, quick-drying, abrasion resistance and adsorption (solid adsorption, liquid adsorption, static electricity adsorption), and then compared with cotton knitted cloths. The relationship between specific area and adsorption of the fiber is analyzed by theoretical model and then it is found that the theoretical data can match with the practical data. Meanwhile, the cleaning property for six kinds of knitted cloths is evaluated comprehensively by fuzzy mathematics and it is concluded that the cleaning property for knitted cloths made of superfine fiber is superior to 100% cotton knitted cloths.
