As an important tool for the manufacturing industry ,Carbide tools play an important role in the development of advanced manufacturing technology .As a kind of Carbide tools ,Coated Carbide Tool has a wide range of application areas as well as a bright future with its excellent performance .The depositing furnace for cemented carbide is the core equipment of the Cemented carbide coating deposition furnace technology ,with its reasonable structure and temperature distribution play an important role in the selection of good coating cemented carbide products .Therefore, by selecting the structure of deposition furnace and doing research into the temperature field of furnace, we can provide theoretical reference for the optimizing design of deposition furnace. deposition furnace Designed to , which has a certain practical significance.In this paper, the Carbide production technology and coating technology are analysised and the relationship between the coating processing and the equipment structure is studied. The principle of heating and the characteristic of respective furnace type are compared between the intermediate frequency heating and electric resistance heating. At last, it is established that the electric resistance heating is suitable for the vertical depositing furnace, based on the fact that it is easier to maintain the stability of the temperature field in vertical depositing furnace. With the use of commercial fluent software, the furnace temperature field of deposition furnace is simulated and the results show that the local furnace high temperature zone exists in the body electric coil Lo-up areas, This shows that the electric body coil Lo-up areas have a more concentrated heat load, resulting in a higher heat load at the surface of electric region ,higher than the surface to allow its heat load, making it easier for the electric material to get damaged or blown. Morever, the difficulty of installation is higher, and the maintenance costs is more. Therefore, the way of arrangements in the imports vertical electric furnace is flawed. Against the problems of the body electric's arrangement in the vertical deposition furnace , the optimized structure assisted the Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd,—spiral electric wires slot shelving—has been achieved. After the analysis of the temperature field in vertical deposition furnaces which are already optimized, local high temperature zone can vanish, the situation of electric wire being frequently blown can be reduced, the temperature field is uniformity,the efection of heating can be better, the difficulty of installation and the maintenance costs can be greatly reduced. The problems in the vertical depositing furnace can be solved effectively.Innovation of this paper lies in the introduction of the numerical simulation technique into deposition furnaces for processing Coated Carbide Tool, providing a guiding role for structural optimization design of Carbide coating deposition furnace.This thesis also extends the scope of application of simulation technology.
