A Study Of Coordinative Development Between Environment And Economy Of Jinhua City

The environment and economy coordination relations were the main attention content of sustainable development. The coordinated development have been recognized the best choice which related for between the environment protection and the processing development economy. Jinhua city has proposed the goal of ecological city construction, but in reality he didn't unify the environmental protection and the economical development well, which result in the operation of the environmental protection and the economic development separately. So, it's an urgent task to study coordinative development between environment and economy of Jinhua city.With this background, this paper evaluates the environmental quality's change and economy development status from 1998 to 2007, using EXCEL and SPSS software, based on the theories of environment economy, sustainable development, ecological Economy and the Environmental Kuznets Curve hypotheses. And then discusses coordinative development strategies between environment and economy according to the evaluation results of coordinative development, in the hope of supplying references for coordinative development between environment and economy of Jinhua city.The content includes: (1) study of Environmental Kuznets Curve of Jinhua city; (2) study of index system, models and method about appraising coordinative development status between environment and economy of Jinhua city; (3) evaluation of economy development, environmental quality change and coordinative development status between environment and economy of Jinhua city; (4) study of coordinative development strategies between environment and economy of Jinhua city.This paper has achieved some main conclusions, as follows:(1) This paper has posted that there is inverse U shape and adding U shape character between the industrial "three wastes" and the economy increasing by Environmental Kuznets Curve. These characteristics are actually inconsistent with Environmental Kuznets Curve which actually is inverse U shape.(2) In Jinhua city, environment and economy was improving, but coordinative level was descending from 1998 to 2007.(3) In Jinhua city, coordinative development between environment and economy looked the trend of escalation from 1998 to 2007.
