Study On The Logistics Mode Selection Of Chongqing Packaging Enterprises

Rational, efficient, scientific mode of logistics management is the key for production enterprises to improve operational efficiency, reduce operating costs and enhance market competitiveness. Currently, there are self-logistics, logistics alliances and third party logistics management mode, each form has its own advantages and disadvantages and application conditions, enterprises can achieve effective management of business logistics only by the rational logistics mode.The size of Chongqing packaging enterprises is generally small, the strength is weak and products are low-profit, market competition is strong, the thought "re-selling light logistics" is serious, has became the bottleneck of rapid development of packaging enterprises. The Chongqing inland bonded port is realized smoothly, which will inevitably provide a huge demand for the packaging industry, but also place high demand on the service capacity of the packaging enterprises. How to select a reasonable logistics mode to reach the effective logistics management has become a serious problem for the packaging enterprises in Chongqing.At present, packaging business has not yet formed a mature thinking and method system of logistics management mode selection, mainly depend on the common way used in the packaging industry, self-selection or outsourcing the service to the traditional freight firms. The non-system selection has serious flaws, it will affect the operation and it is difficult to achieve the better development of the enterprises. Based on this, according to the characteristics of the packaging enterprises in Chongqing, this paper does the theoretical and empirical research on the major issue of the logistics management mode selection process.This paper introduces the theory of enterprise logistics management and domestic, international situation and trends of modern logistics development. Analyze in detail the development status of China's packaging business and the problems of logistics management, do the further research on the status quo of packaging enterprises in Chongqing. By comparing the three types of logistics management, combining with packaging enterprises'own characteristics in Chongqing, the paper raise the main factors affecting the logistics mode selection and logistics mode selection method based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Use SWOT Analysis, KPI (key performance indicators) and Fuzzy Evaluation methods to study specific case to guide enterprises in the logical choice for logistics mode.Studying the logistics mode of the packaging enterprises in Chongqing is beneficial to the effective management of enterprises, raising their competitiveness, achieving rapid development of Chongqing packaging industry, better meeting the enormous packaging demand created by the Chongqing bonded area and taking part in the strong competition of domestic and international packaging industry.
