Design Of Remote Monitor System For Oil Wells Based On GPRS

To overcome the shortcomings of traditional method of monitoring oil wells, a method of remote monitor system based on GPRS was presented and the design process and networking method of RTU and the design method of central server were described. Utilizing GPRS module MC55 and relying on GPRS network and APN, the remote monitor system sets up the GPRS wireless network between oil wells monitor location and monitor center, breaks through the limitation of terrain and realizes data transmission between terminal unit and monitor center, can complete some functions, such as real time data collection, remote data transmission and monitor. The application in the local field proved the system is feasible in the area covered with motion communication network and can achieve control commander.First of all, this article briefly introduces the working principle of GPRS, including the network, transfer protocol module, routing management and business-related note of GPRS. In addition, in order to select the best network for remote system, analyses the mode of network for GPRS usage.Secondly, presents the design flow and process realization of hardware and software of the RTU.Among the design, the most part of the hardware of RTU include terminal controller, the module of data acquisition, GPRS terminal, and output control; the software is aimed to realize RTU works normally.Finally, describes the realization of oil production control center. As the core part of the whole remote monitor system, monitor center includes the module of network communications, database management, graphic monitoring and fault diagnosis. Monitor center realizes the dynamic monitoring of the states of oil wells, the whole analysis, real-time displaying and data query of the upload data, such as the motor current and voltage of pumping equipment, rod load and location, and so on.
