With the fast development of computer technology,quite great progress has been achieved in mould CAD technique and a lot of famous general CAD software has been developed. While in order to satisfy the needs of developing specified products in special industry,some special functions need to be added ingeneral CAD software. That is the second development of software, which can enhance the efficiency and quality of product design.UG NX5 provides a lot of secondary development tools and methods, among whi-ch the UG/Open Menuscrip,UG/Open UIStyler,UG/Open API,UG/Open GRIP combined with VisualC++6.0, data base development methods ischosen for founding m-icrowave part library in this subject. The subject has realized th-e function of the run-er system of plastic injection mould design on three dimensionaldrawing for the sake of rapid and efficient industry design.This project developes a three-dimensional system module for warm extrusion. It is based on UG NX5 and VisualC++6.0. The project is studied in a deep going way in this paper by UG compositively using a series second developments and the chara-cteres of this modle for the runer system of injection mould. Therefore, it is very im-portant for enhancing of design efficiency and design quality of injection mould that the design runer system finally achieves simultaneous forming of the runer system and moulding part.
