Ecological Environment Protection Planning Of Small Towns And A Case Study Analysis

One of the measures to quicken urbanization is to construct small town. However, with the development of small town,the ecological environment of small town is getting worse and worse. Development of small towns generated a lot of "waste" material, on the fragile ecological environment had a negative impact. How to effectively guide the small town planning and building, prevention of destructive urban expansion and urban ecological environment deterioration, has become an important issue of local government. Small town environment planning is based on the above proposed reality.This study research technology and methods of ecological environmental planning on the basis of the ecosystem and other related disciplines theory. The study enriched the research of environment of small towns, and provided scientific basie for the sustainable development fo small towns. Mainly studied the following aspects:(1)The research status of eco-environment planning and small towns environment is discusses. eco-environment planning Studies originated in the 19th century. Many scholars in and abroad have been dedicated to eco-environment planning of small towns research.They deal with its connotation,theoretics, measures, and advices and so on.(2) This study analyzed and summarized the characteristics of small towns,and research technology and methods of ecological environmental planning on the basis of the ecosystem, sustainable development, ecology, environmental planning, systems science, and other related disciplines theory.(3) According to the plan of ecological environment,social,economic background or status information,the study predicted the ecological environment along with social and economic development changes.And it established planning objectives and targets system based on the investigation and prediction.(4) ShuangShui Town for example,by ecological green space, natural landscape, agricultural ecology, environmental situation,focusing on sources of pollution and other environmental elements of investigation and analysis, the study pointed out that the main existing environmental problems.And the study establishde the ecological environment planning objectives and targets system through the forecasts of population and social development,environmental pressures.According to eco-environmental protection requirements on the functions of different regions,Shuangshui divided into the five ecological functions areas,including drinking water source protection areas, protection of ecological forest tourism, ecological farmland protection areas and mixed areas, industrial areas and so on. Eco-environment planning for ShuangShui Town,including comprehensive improvement of water environment, atmospheric environment, comprehensive treatment, sound integrated environmental management, solid comprehensive treatment of waste, ecological and environmental protection planning, industrial development in seven areas.
