Huai Chrysanthemum Morifolium is Compositae Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat's dry capitulum. Modern research proves that Huai Chrysant-hemum Morifolium have good medical and healthy protection. Volatileoil(essen-tial oil) is a class of aromatic odor of oily liquid exist in plants or herbs, wh-ich can volatile at room temperature. The major components of volatileoil is t-erpenes, sesquiterpenes and their oxygenated derivatives. The extraction,chemi-cal composition and cigarettes flavoring of essential oil from Huai Chrysanthe-mum Morifolium were studied in this paper. Study result as follows:1. Volatile oil were extracted by steam distillation. The influence of different f-ineness(mesh), amount of water, soaking time and distillation time on extractio-n of volatile oil was studied. The results showed that the impact of the yield of volatile oil is A(fineness)>D(distillation time)>B(soaking time)>C(amount of water). Variance analysis showed that A (fineness) and D (distillation time) on the yield of volatile oil were significantly affected, B(soaking time) and C(am-ount of water) had no significant effect on the results. At last,based on the or-thogonal experiment, determined the optimal extraction condition: fineness 60- 80 mesh, amount of water 15 times, distillation time 11h, soaking time 10h. T-he volatile was blue and pungent, yield was 0.267%.2. Volatile oil were extracted by flash-type extractor. The influence of petroleu-m ether, ethyl acetate, acetone and hexane on extraction of volatile oil was studied. By gas chromatography analysis, oil rate, color and aroma as judgment criteria, determine the best organic solvent was petroleum ether. Based on these,further by single factor test, Box-Behnken experimental study and response surface analysis,determine that the main factor is the voltage,followed by the extraction time,finally was solid to liquid ratio. At the same time determined the optimal extraction condition: solid to liquid ratio 1:12(g/mL), extraction time 35s, voltage 200v. The volatile was yellow and aroma was light, yield was 1.5522%.3. Volatile oil were extracted by soxhlet extraction. The influence of ether, pet- roleum ether and hexane on extraction of volatile oil was studied. By gas chr-omatography analysis, oil rate, color and aroma as judgment criteria, determinethe best organic solvent was ether. Based on these,further by single factor test, Box-Behnken experimental study and response surface analysis,determine that amount of solvent and extraction time on the yield of volatile oil were signifi-cantly affected, temperature had no significant effect on the results. At the sa-me time determined the optimal extraction condition: amount of solvent 10 times, extraction time 7h, temperature 65℃. The volatile was buff and aroma wassweet, yield was 1.9826%.4. Volatile oil were extracted by enzyme extraction. The influence of amount of Aspergillus niger, time, pH and temperature on extraction of volatile oil wasstudied. The results showed that the impact of the yield of volatile oil is C (pH)>B(time)>A(amount of Aspergillus niger)>D(temperature). Variance analysis showed that B (time) and C(pH) on the yield of volatile oil were highly, D (temperature) had no significant effect on the results. At last, based on the ort-hogonal experiment, determined the optimal extraction condition: crude enzyme to Huai Chrysanthemum Morifolium 1:5, time 9h, pH5, temperature 40℃. Thevolatile was buff and aroma was light, yield was 0.9895%.5. The common ingredients in the volatile oil was phellendrene, p-cymene,αp- inene, farnesol, nerohdol, cinede, chrysanthenone, borneol, sabinene,α-thujene.6. According to GC-MS analysis and quality assessment on essential oil, dete- rmine the best extraction method was the soxhlet extraction method.7. The Volatile oil was added into cigarettes made of C3F tobacco leaves as a flavor. The results showed that: the rational consumption of volatile oil was 0.50‰-1. 50‰in Nanyang tobacco leaves, 1.50‰-3.00‰in Yanbian tobacco l-eaves. The results indicated that it could efficiently reduce offensive odor,ma-ke tobacco smoke smooth and fine,and improve smoking quality of the cigar-ettes.8. The Volatile oil was added into formula tobacco leaves as a flavor. The re-sults showed that: the rational consumption of volatile oil was 0.50‰-1. 50‰, it could improve smoking quality of the cigarettes.
