This dissertation is mainly about the research on the development of WEDM-HS. The WEDM-HS is unique to our nation. Compared to WEDM-LS, It has atvantages of simple structure,low cost, convenient operating, easy repairing. To WEDM-HS, the recent research subject is on wire-feeding system which represents the integrated level the machine in every aspects. Besides,the stability of the wire-feeding system influnce the surface quality of processing work piece directly. Nowadays, WEDM-LS has taken up the domestic market growingly with its high precision and high efficiency technology. More requests on the stability of the wire-feeding system are needed.Therefore , it is high time to do some research on more stabilitic wire-feeding system.This is design and analysis for wire-feeding institutions of WEDM-HS. Wire-feeding institution is an important part of WEDM-HS. Its machining accuracy direct impact on the performance of it. WEDM-HS is mainly used for processing of a variety of complex and sophisticated shapes and small workpieces. IT has advantages of the small machining allowances, the high machining precision, the short production cycle, low manufacturing cost so it has a wide range of applications in the machining.This dissertation studied the wire-feeding institutions of the WEDM-HS through experiment. Tested vibration condition of the components for wire-feeding system, including the new tensioning institution by experiment.Received the relationship between the electrode wire tension and vibration changes and operation of wire storage tube. Get the influence to the electrode wire natural frequency of vibration from the changes of the span of wire frame and the tension. This dissertation analied the relationship of the frequency spectrum of vibration of electrode wire and the vibration amplitude from experiment .This dissertation based on an experiment for WEDM-HS and analysis and study about relevant material,described the composition, structure and working principle of the WEDM-HS. Introduced the function of the wire- feeding institutions and the part of it. Looks to the develop strategy of the WEDM-HS in the future. Designed and selected storage tube of wire- feeding, the part of gear transmission, the part of screw transmission and slide way of the WEDM-HS. Conducted vibration experiments for the vibration problem of the WEDM-HS and found the cause of vibration. Put forward the corresponding solution method.Found the factors input on the processing quality of cutting machine and ways to improve it.This dissertation based on the analysis and study of WEDM-HS. For the problem of vibration to WEDM-HS Studied the vibration that the electrode wire has using ANSYS software. Through ANSYS simulation of vibration for the electrode wire. Proposed the measure of reduce vibration of electrode wire in order to improve the electrode wire cutting machine quality.
