FEA(Finite Element Analysis) is a fast and good efficient design tool in modern engineering analysis and design. The application of Finite Element Analysis and structure optimum etc CAE technology is significant in improving the working performance and accuracy of new product , shortening the product development design cycles, reducing manufacturing cost and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.This paper aims at the project of TK6916 NC boring and milling machine, established a milling and boring machine of the three-dimensional model with Solid Works, used finite element analysis software ANSYS as an analytical tool, realized static and dynamic analysis of spindle box and slide, boring and milling machine and spindle box slide to. Optimized the spindle box with APDL language, provide the basis and guidance of product optimization design.Established three-dimensional model of spindle box and slide by three-dimensional software.Carried out static and modal analysis of slide. Static analysis shows the structure of the stress field and displacement field, analysis of structural strength and rigidity; obtained its natural frequencies and mode shapes by modal analysis Comprehensive static analysis and dynamic analysis, evaluated the mechanical properties of slide.Analyzed spatial force system of the spindle box; Proposed improvements for improving stiffness of the spindle box according to FEA results; obtained the result of static and model analysis result of improved spindle box. Comprehensive static analysis and dynamic analysis to evaluate mechanical properties of the structure of spindle box.Finally, used APDL language to establish parametric spindle box. For the purpose of enhancing the rigidity and reducing weight to optimize its main geometric dimensions.
