Double horse head pumping is evolved from convention beam-pumping unit,it not only maintain simple structure,easy operation and stable operation of convention beam-pumping unit,but also smaller additional dynamic load,lower energy consumption and higher comprehensive efficiency .widely useed in Daqing oilfield.But, field application investgation shows that the problem such as poor bearing capacity of bracket,easy fractured driving cord of rear horsehead,easy break hinge pin of rear horsehead and walkingbeam appearing tearing crack etc. are also exsit in use double horse head pumping ,the problem of main vulnerable part are directly related to the reliability of overall unit.The paper takes double horse head beam pumping as object,based on the field application investgation, sums up common failure mode of main vulnerable part double horse head beam pumping,then analyses the reason of failure. With the method of finite analysis it simulates the bracket model via SolidWorks, optimizes the structure.The optimized result reduces the total weight of bracket and increases the bearing capacity.There are many reasons for driving cord of rear horsehead fractured in double horse head pumping unit ,the main reason is that the location of bracket is not geared to rear horsehead result ed in the rear horsehead cutting ropes.With the specific software of double horse head pumping unit, optimizing the location of bracket and rear horsehead,then finding the applicable position relationship.Focus on hinge pin of rear horsehead fractured and walkingbeam appearing tearing crack, uses modern test methods for stress and strain test , finds up the main reason for hinge pin of rear horsehead fractured and walkingbeam appearing tearing crack,and acquires the stress distribute rule of key component of pumping unit.analysing the bonding technology scientifically, presents improvement proposal, provide theoretical basis for further optimizitation.
