Water Demand Planning And Tech-Economic Analysis On Reclaimed Water In Tianjin

Tianjin is a city which is seriously short of water resources. The contradiction between supply and demand of water resources is serious day by day, which has seriously influenced the sustainable water resources exploitation and utilization and sustainable development of socio-economy in Tianjin. Due to the serious situation, the use of the reclaimed water is one of the best alternatives to alleviate the water resource crisis in Tianjin.This paper gave a detailed description of the water resources situation in Tianjin, especially the situation of reclaimed water using. In Tianjin, the reclaimed water, which applied in domestic water, industrial water and urban secondary landscape river water, has already achieved success in some degree. With the enhancement of laws and regulations, there are more and more detailed requirements in reclaimed water quality standards for the reclaimed water in different usage. This paper analyses the technological possibilities of reclaimed water used as agricultural water, industrial water, living water, urban secondary landscape river water and groundwater recharge water, and it also points out that there are technical problems for reclaimed water used in Tianjin now.Base on the technical possibilities analysis, this paper forecasts Tianjin reclaimed water demand in different sectors for next few year. With the principle to priority allocate large users, it compares reclaimed water demand and available quantity, then it calculates the water quantity for different reclaimed water usage. Then, it proposes a plan for Tianjin`s new reclaimed water plant.At last, this paper analyses the reclaimed water for different usages in economic, and finds out the best optimum solution to recycling water. Reclaimed water reuse in stainable development of water resources in Tianjin, and it will promote the socio-economy development of Tianjin.
