Smart grid is the new trend of development of power grid construction.As an important part of the smart grid,intelligent substation is responsible for the task of controlling the power flow and change the voltage level.As an important part of the substation,the safe operation of relay protection directly affects the entire substation grid safety and economic operation.Based on the project of Yaocun 110 k V intelligent substation,this paper designs the relay protection system of Yaocun intelligent substation.The technical standard and the “Three layers and two networks” structure of the intelligent substation are introduced.And the relay protection of traditional substation and intelligent substation are compared and analyzed.Currently,intelligent substation relay on the hardware configuration,configuration and implementation of a significant change to the conventional relay.Combined with network systems,links among equipment are more close.And intelligent substation equipment can be manipulated through the background,the use of automated means to manipulate,not only reduces the possibility of vandalism,but also improves the accuracy of the device.Then,through the analysis and prediction of the power load of Yong'an County,it is necessary to clarify the construction of Yaocun 110 k V intelligent substation.Combined with engineering practice and the IEC61850 standard,the composition of Yaocun substation relay protection system is introduce.A description of station control layer,the interval layer,the process layer and 110 k V,35 k V,10 k V line protection specific configuration in the Yaocun substation relay protection is given.Then the network of the relay protection process layer is designed.The paper proposes 3 network programs of SV and GOOSE message transmission,3 GOOSE network structures.By analyzing several aspects of program reliability,technical maturity,equipment wiring and feasibility,getting suitable network program for Yaocun substation.Finally,the debugging and testing scheme of substation relay protection system is determined,and the test and analysis results are given.This paper relies on specific engineering practice,combined with pre-existing construction engineering design experience and results.The realization of 110 k V intelligent substation relay protection system in Yaocun has laid a good foundation for the stable operation of intelligent substation.
