The tandem warhead composed by forward shaped charge and backward kinetic energy penetrator is one trend of hard structure weapons.This paper mainly studies tandem warhead bombs on the effect of target penetration.In this paper the penetration of target is concrete material, ANSYS / LS-DYNA is be used in numerical simulation, finally give theoretical explanation to the numerical simulation results, and made comparison with the experimental results.Numerical simulation of this paper include the forward shaped charge penetrate through concrete material,the effort of Forward Shaped Charge to the backward kinetic energy penetrator,the scattered process of controlled fragment.Based on the EFP forming theory, the model of tandem warhead has been simplified and carried out Numerical simulation of EFP formation with hemispherical liner through concrete penetration, we get the process of explosively frmed penetrator,and get a horn in the shell crater.By making numerical simulation of tandem warhead by forward shaped charge to the backward kinetic energy penetrator, we get process of detonation transition from the effect of forward shaped charge to the backward kinetic energy penetrator,the speed drop and deformation of backward projectile,this paper take the numberical simulation of concrete objectives penetration by backward kinetic energy penetrator,we get the process of concrete damage and the rate of change of velocity on forward shaped charge; Through controlled fragment of backward projectile ,we get the law of controlled fragment scattered process and the rate of change of velocity curves.
