This paper discusses assessment index system research and application of green construction in pile foundation engineering, and underlines the application of green construction in pile foundation work, the establishment of assessment index structure of the green construction in pile foundation work, the confirmation of index weight and the comprehensive green assessment for the real construction by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of entropy weight value and so on.The research is under the background of serious damages to natural environment by curent construction industry, dramatic decrement of land area, increasing tense in resources and city water. Pile foundation work is the most common in contruction with the widest application, so execution of green construction in pile foundation work can solve the above problems to some extent. Its purpose is to realize "Four Savings and One Protection", namely material saving, water saving, power saving, land saving and environment protection.There, are a lot of researches on green buildings. Ministry of Construction also issued the assessment standards for green buildings, which made the assessment for green buildings have standards to refer. In the whole life of construction, although construction period is shorter than operation period, it has very serious damage to natural environment, and the resource consumption is also much centalized. So during the period of construction, green construction is very helpful for the sustainable development of the construction industry. But the research of green construction is very little around the world, and most of them are only qualitative investigation. For government, they still haven't issued related national standards or regulations. Additionally, there is no comprehensive and pratical assessment index structure for green construction, not to mention the assessment index structure for green construction of pile foundation work. The purpose of this paper is to establish a scientific, comprehensive, practical and easy assessment index structure for green construction of pile foundation work, and make comprehensive assessment on real construction by proper method.This paper according to real conditions of a pile foundation work in Beishi district in Kunming, taking into account the special hydrogeological conditions, ecological environment and natural resources and other factors in Kunming, refer to the relevant literature at home and abroad, and comes up with an assessment index structure for green construction of pile foundation work with 6 first indexes,28 secondary indexes, and 66 third indexes. Basically, the index structure includes all information of pile foundation work, which is more comprehensive. The confirmation of index weight is to avoid deficiencies of improper and unaccurate weight in subjective sole weighting method or objective weighting method, in this paper, we confirm the index weight by more scientific, more practical and more convincing comprehensive integration weighting method. At last, we make the assessment to a pile foundation work in Beishi district in Kunming by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of entropy weight value, and the assessment of the green construction is "good". It means it is in the middle level of the green construction of pile foundation work. It also comes up with suggestions to the apects of the green construction where needs improments and makes detailed analysis.At the end of the paper, we conclude the major research achievements, deficiencies and expectations of the research subject.
