Research On Passage Equipment Capacity Of Large-scale Passenger Station

Passenger equipment is the basic of traffic facilities of railway passenger station, including the waiting room, the ticket examination gate, the passenger passway, the overpass facility, etc. It's a place of the large passenger flow accumulation and evacuation. Its capacity is the foundation of design, management and organization in railway passenger station. According to the actual situation in China, and the trend of future development, we must be sure the capacity of these basic passenger equipments reasonably. Make these have a certain reference value to ensure good transport order of passenger station, improve passenger service quality and save the infrastructure investment.The paper studies the capacity of passenger equipments in some existing large passenger stations. The main contents are as follows:(1)The paper collects the existing ticket speed of the ticket examination gates in fourteen large-scale railway passenger stations crossing the country and analyzes their ticket speed. Then it determines the existing ticket capacity, and puts forward the design(2) Through statistically analyses the passengers waiting time of the national six railway passenger stations, the paper fits out of passengers waiting time distribution laws. Then the maximum assembling passenger mode of railway passenger station is brought. At last the area calculation model is built taking into consideration the area occupied by passengers.(3)The walk speed and the average occupying space of passengers are statistically analyzed on passenger passways and stairs of Beijing station and Beijing west station. Referring foreign related experience, the paper fits the passenger flow-average occupying space curve. According to the curve, the paper ascertains the level of service and reference value of passenger passways and stairs.(4)On the basic of the data of the rolling ladder's capacity in Beijing south railway passenger stations, the paper statistically analyses the existing rolling ladder, and gives the design capacity reference value.In the paper, the capacity of passenger equipment is analyzed quantitatively. It can provide some reference for the passenger design and passenger traffic organization.
