ABSTRACT:In recent years, with the development of economy and the powerful support of national policy, China's logistics industry is developing rapidly. As an important part of transportation, the development of railway logistics industry plays a key role. Building a modern railway logistics center can improve the efficiency and service quality of railway transportation, accelerating the integration of different transport modes and improve the railway economic benefits. While, a railway logistics center with stable operation must be based on the reasonable layout. Therefore, scientific and reasonable layout of railway logistics center has the extremely vital significance.This paper analysis the problems of railway logistics center layout from the following several aspects:(1) Determine the railway Logistics center function modules, through the comparing between traditional railway goods yard and modern logistics center and analyzes the change trend of different market requirements.(2) Conclusion the relevance of different homework through the analysis of different category cargo and logistics services' operation process.(3) Calculate the area of different functional partition, analyzes the logistics relationship and other relationship through the SLP method with the consideration of the operations process, suggest a layout scheme and give a evaluation to the scheme.(4) Take Shijiazhuang railway logistics center as an example, expounds the layout method of railway logistics center, and give a revaluation.
