With the continuous increase in vehicle ownership, vehicle maintenance companies are also increasing the workload. At the same time, there are unbalance problems of production line in many vehicle maintenance enterprises. Through a comprehensive analysis of domestic vehicle maintenance and repair industry, the paper finds that Imbalance in production line will cause hour waste and the accumulation of operating process, so there is a phenomenon that seized vehicles are waiting to be maintained. It also may lead to serious situation that production line stops working. The paper aims to speed up the beat of maintenance work, improve efficiency of the production line, and meet the requirement of mass production. It also has practical significance in improving production management and increasing economic efficiency of vehicle maintenance enterprise.First of all, the paper explores the theory of workshop scheduling, then sets the production line of vehicle maintenance for object, and makes in-depth investigation and research about problems of production line in reality. Collect the detailed information of the station about the specific elements and processing time during the research, and make the processing time table. Then the paper establishes simulation model of vehicle maintenance production line which contains eleven stations. So it can be achieved that the seized vehicles moves between stations and production line realizes simulation of three-dimensional visual. In this paper, the parameters of the model and control strategy can be dynamically modified by the Flexsim system simulation software. The paper makes simulation study in minimizing the idle time of the production line. It also makes simulation study of the balance of the amount of workers during the task. All of this wants to realize the production process optimization of vehicle maintenance. Make use of the powerful statistical software, mark detailed time of work element in the production line, and then provide an important basis for decision-making. Finally, using simple heuristic algorithm, the paper studies the simulation, balance, simulation process of the production lines, and it also makes the balance analysis of it. Using Genetic Algorithm, the maintenance order of seized vehicles is optimized and the dynamic scheduling is realized. Respectively study the indicators before and after balance analysis, and make comparison of utilization of the station before and after balance. So the planning and design of production line has been greatly improved.Flexsim simulation software will dynamically analyze the information so as to reflect the virtual environment of the entire process of production, meaning that the specific activities of the production line can be restored. So the paper selects system simulation software Flexsim as the simulation analysis tool. The production information such as material resources, production process data and process build the real-time information for the production line. It also can provide perfect method for the planning, design of production line firstly and the operation, management of it in later period.
