Rural development is a integrated problem, including the politics, economy, society, and other aspects. Currently, our country is in the process of rural urbanization. A large number of natural resources and human resources flow to urban, but the country's relatively backward. Within the "New Countryside Construction "and "saving society" starting in-depth, a large number of villages have been integrated, and the residential construction is an important component of rural development. But it causes many problems in both architectural design and quality of construction for the extensive and low-level construction mode. At the same time, the Poor adaptability, high energy consumption and the waste of land also bring tremendous pressure of environment and resources. In this context, it is too urgent to speed up the research of intensive and energy-efficient system, so that it is sustainable for residential construction in rural areas. This paper discusses the methods of modular design and construction in the condition of current construction system to optimize the residential construction, which is based on the production and living patterns of south of Hebei province and the survey and analysis of suitable energy-saving technologies. This paper focus on the future development needs of rural industrialization to discuss the basic functional modules and the design of energy-saving equipment, tries to make the residence adapt to different rural production and life style through different organization between modules. Then, the combination of regional energy-efficient approaches and construction modules was considered in this paper, it researches to improve the quality of rural living to achieve greater efficiency and energy savings, and accumulate technical experiences for developing new construction system in the rural areas in the future.
