Electric energy is not only the people daily lifes'needing power, but also plays an important role in the national economy production. In order to use electric energy rationallyand fully, we must timely master power supply condition and the customers' power-expenditure information.Power load management system appears to the time.Power load management terminal is the most basic component unit of power load management system. Based on power load management terminal, it not only avoids peak electric tension and reduces the pressure of power, but also plays an important role in changing the load curve and improves the network operation condition.On the basis of seriously studying the existing power load management terminal technology and enterprise application requirements, we design a new power load management terminal, which is based on the DSP chip of ADSP-BF531. In this paper the terminal'design is introduced in detail.First, this paper introduces the measures of improving terminal ac sample performance.It includes the optimization design of ac sampling circuit and ac sample algprithm.It also compares the unoptimizd and optimized results through validation compareing.Then, it introduces the software and hardware design of the teminal.In the hardware design, it adopt unit design concept. The total hardware design program is introduced at first. Then each functional unit is analyzed in detail including CPU unit, data acquisition unit, communication unit, man-machine interface unit, power supply unit, etc. In the software design, use unit and Structured programming method. Firstly it introduces software development environment-Visual DSP++.Then introduces the overall and each functional unit'program design. It also gives a detailed description on the software algorithm. It fully considers its function expansion and anti-jamming performance during the terminal's software and hardware design.Finally, the terminal overall performance is tested. Test results show that the terminal has a good performance. Power load management terminal is the inevitable trend of the informational and automated power system. With the increasingly nervous of energy problems and the increasingly perfect of terminal performance, it believes that the terminal will be used more widely.
