With the development of society, the energy crisis and environmental pollution are becoming increasingly prominent, in order to solve these problems, domestic and international for new energy development and utilization carried out in-depth study. In terms of ship propulsion, power battery as the source of power has been applied successfully in the ship, bound in multi-power battery storage benefits, foreign shipbuilding industry research in this area in developed countries are actively engaged in. Domestic research in this area is still relatively small, through the power battery simulation of power transmission process, and explore their inner law of the transmission process, its application in marine propulsion systems have important guiding significance.In this paper, the lithium-ion battery power as a source of small passenger vessels were studied, from the battery management system, the entire power transmission system of ship design and working principle, the construction of mathematical models, system simulation model and simulation analysis were discussed and studied. Made the following key areas:1. Through research and related information collected, analyzed the application of lithium-ion battery's advantages in the ship and its development.2. Through analysis of parent-type ship, designed and built the whole ship's power transmission system, and its working principle is analyzed.3. Through the analysis of lithium-ion battery pack, described the working principle of lithium-ion battery, studied for the small passenger battery management system (BMS), the model of the lithium-ion battery was established and the methods of estimating remaining battery capacity was studied.4. To establish mathematical model of a small sub-passenger power transmission system, the system model mainly includes the DC-DC Boost system model, DC-AC system model and three-phase inverter system model.5. Using simulation software Saber, according to the constructed various subsystems mathematical model to complete the simulation model, establishing the main parameters of relevant components in each subsystem researching the simulation analysis of the various subsystems. Simulation analysis of the main DC-DC Boost system, DC-AC conversion system and the three-phase voltage inverter system. In DC-DC Boost system, mainly studied saw tooth generator, the feedback voltage, PWM control model, the output voltage characteristics and other aspects; DC-AC three-phase voltage inverter system main reference signal sinusoidal modulation voltage, triangular carrier, SPWM control model and the characteristics of three-phase voltage output and other aspects.In this paper, simulation software Saber was used to simulate and analysis the small passenger power transmission system, each subsystem of the main issues was discussed, draw some instructive conclusions and lay a foundation for future research in this area.
