| During the development of a switch power, the modeling and simulation is the most important step, an accurate dynamic model is the base of the design of a high quality close control loop, at the same time, a good compensator of the close loop is the key point to the result of control. Using some simulation software, we can make an accurate predict to the features of a system’s inputs and outputs, as well as dynamic performances, and it can also help to modify and optimize the parameters of the circuit, reducing the developing time remarkably.In this article, several classical topologies of PWM DC/DC converter have been reviewed, these topologies are the bases of various switching power from which many actual topologies in using can be deduced. Two popular simulating methods have been introduced,several small signal modeling methods of PWM DC/DC converter which considering the influences of parasitic parameters have been deduced, using these methods, the specific small signal model with consideration of parasitic parameters of Buck and Boost conveter have been deduced, after that, using Saber to simulateand verify the accuracy of these models.The design methods of compensator for close loop of PWM DC/DC converter have been studied, using Matlab and the Sisotool of it to design compensator of converters, analysed several different compensators under various control models, at the end of this article, to illustrate the design concept, an example of how to design the compensator of a voltage controlled Buck converter has been given, using the traditional pole and zero assignment method to design compensator, a type3compensation network created by the powerful interactive function of sisotool, then get another kind of PID regulation compensator in the sisotool with the use of automated tuning method,at last in the Saber the actual circuits were simulated, the actual effect of these two kinds of compensation network are compared and improvement has been put forward. |
