Gestalt Theory And The Analysis Of "Force" In Interior Design

Interior space is a kind of perception style in that the pattern, color, light and material of the space are perceived by vision. Then why different interior space make people have different feelings? In other words, what kind of interior space can offer us visual delights? What kind of interior space gives us emotional experience? How can a designer create an interior space which is delightful to our eyes and brings us emotional experience? These are the questions that will be answered in the thesis as well as the subject of this study.Based on the aesthetic theory in Gestalt Psychology, referring to the work Art and Visual Perception by Rudolf Arnheim as theoretical support ,the author of this paper, with an approach of graphical analysis, conducts a study of the relation between Gestalt theory and interior design and the embodiment of"force"in interior designing, so as to figure out the approaches to producing tension in interior space The paper details the formative factors of"force"in interior designing and provides a systematic new theory for creating expressing style. Through an analysis and discussion of"tension","embodiment","isomorphic"and"space force"of Gestalt psychology, the author expounds clearly the relationship between the physical, Physiological and psychological fields of the subject human. The author argues that tension is not only embodied in the style, color, light and material but also combinations of indoor sports and sequential combination. It concludes that interior space is multidimensional space, a kind of comprehensive tension of spatial gestalt. And furthermore, only through the embodiment of the force structure can space give the aesthetic subject stimulation and emotional experience.The last part of the thesis focuses on the embodiment of the comprehensive force in interior designing from the perspective of"force", thus deepening the influence of the aesthetic theory of Gestalt psychology on interior designing and provides new laws of interior designing, which makes relative study more systematic and thorough.
