Research Of Zhangzhou City Historic District Environmental Protection And Greening

Historic District is an important part of Zhangzhou as a historical and cultural city, which records the 1,500-years history of this amazing development region. Historic District is very important as a carrier of Taiwanese architectural history, Taiwanese nonmaterial culture, history and cultural affinities between Zhangzhou and Taiwan and international business flows. But this gem of historical and cultural city has been ruined by reconstructing of the old city town in recent years.In the process of municipal construction and economic development the protection of Historic District in Zhangzhou is inevitable for the urban development. How to protect the historic districts in Zhangzhou with scientific and reasonable to make a new urban life, has become the an important issue for the city planning & landscaping workers in Zhangzhou. As one of the social problem it has attracted fully attention.In this paper I'm trying to find the best and the most appropriate way for protecting and landscaping in the Historic Districts of Zhangzhou. That's all base on the result and process of Historic Districts-protection. To list several strategic measure about how to protect and landscape the Historic Districts of Zhangzhou, take Taiwan Road as an example of the typical historic district. That's including responsibilities of administrative departments, the content and the scope for public to participate, which district should be protected and how much the protection should go, remediation and depth of the object of protection, the protection of tangible and intangible assets in historic district, environmental greening, etc.This paper is been divided into four parts. Part 1: The research value, the researching actuality and developing trend. Part 2: The general situation of the historic districts in Zhangzhou and how to protect the Historic District status in the process of landscaping. Part 3: the measures and suggestions for protection and landscape in Historic District. Part 4: the strategy of landscape rebuilding for the historic districts in Zhangzhou.
