The Research On Intelligent Design System Of Cold Milling Machine Drum

The milling drum is a key part of cold milling machines. There is no software to calculate and optimizate its mechanical parameters. The design drawing is completed manually with CAD software. The design has not been realized the automation and the intelligentization so far. Therefore, in this paper, the kinematic and dynamic analysis about the drum is done based on the basic operation parameters. According to the expreimental data and formula, design parameters of milling drum is researched, Three-dimensional and two-dimensional drawing are made automatically, and design of the drum is finished step by step with the intelligent design system which is explored initially.This paper focus on how to improve the milling machine operation performance, and how to use the computer software, automatic rotor kinematics parameter optimization design and dynamic parameters, and automatic generation of the three-dimensional entity graph and two-dimensional engineering drawings, thus to improve the design quality and design level, reduce product development design cycle. Through this paper analysis and realize from the basic operation parameters on and off of the rotor of kinematics and dynamics analysis, and according to experience data and formula, it is concluded that the reasonable milling planer rotor design parameters, automatically generated three-dimensional graphics and two-dimensional engineering graphics, and guide the user gradually finish design work, preliminary explored the a milling planer rotor design intelligent system.This intelligent design system can improve the product design efficiency and relieve labor intensity of the designer. Therefore, we hope that this paper can popularize advanced design theory, design method and CAD technology. Article can be a reference for the study of other products of intelligent design method, also can be a reference for researchers to develop a design system that bases on Pro/ENGINEER platform.
