Research On Built Environmental Post Occupancy Evaluation Of Creative Industry Parks In Shanghai

At present, with the constantly developing of economy, Shanghai has entered the age of knowledge-based economy. "Creative" has taken a key position in people's life. "The creative industry" plays an important role in Shanghai's economic development as a form of the conjunction with knowledge economy. Creative industry becomes one of the four modern service industries that finance, logistics and shipping which Shanghai government takes effort to develop. Creative industry has become a new industry that Shanghai government gives priority to develop. The Creative industry park as a concentration place of exchanges and interaction for creative enterprises and creative classes increases rapidly with the vigorous development of creative industries.However, as the large amount of creative industry parks appearing in Shanghai, when they are being used, there also comes out many problems like lack of ancillary facility and public space. This paper takes the four mature creative industry parks in Shanghai as example: the M50, Tian Zi Fang, The bridge 8 and The New Factories, uses the method of Environment-behavior studies and the post occupancy evaluation ( POE ), such as methods of structural questionnaire, freedom interviews and mathematical statistics, collects the environmental assessment data from users, with scientific analysis, to know their evaluation to the target environment and comprehensively appraise the extent that built environment satisfying the demand of users. Through the contrast research in evaluation results of four creative industry parks, we found the success and failure and try to explore the deep reasons behind these problems. We hope the architects, owners and related departments to learn from the related information, then improve the quality and function of the built environment and make it better to satisfy user's requirements.Through the investigation and research, this paper obtained the conclusions about traffic facilities, external environment and perception, architecture, ancillary facilities, landscape, security management and indoor environment. Based on these conclusions, this paper puts forward the design proposal of creative industry park by user's evaluation. Specific suggestions include: set up comfortable and convenient walking system, form a reasonable and convenient traffic organization, attention to the creation of more space, increase the accessibility and participation of open space, perfect the park spatial orientation system, attention to the design of stratified space and fuzzy space, pay attention to the interface choice of public space, pay attention to the organization of vertical plant landscape, etc. We hope this study can provide research method and basic statistic for the follow-up study and provide scientific reference for future similar construction to maximize the comprehensive efficiency and quality of designing.
