As energy running out and people paying more attention on the environmental protection, energy conservation of engineering mechanical index is given more and more attention by users. The traditional constant pressure, constant power variable pump in some applications, its power loss bigger load sensitive type variable pump system appear can solve this problem well. it use variable piston pump, According to load feedback flow or pressure signals, providing the right power for load. So it can improve the engine's efficiency, as far as possible to reduce the power loss.First, the history and current research status of the Variable pump and Engineering mechanical energy saving technology are introduced based on a lot of the publications and conference papers, then expounds the research significance and the research contents. quantitative pump throttling speed regulation system,quantitative pump LS system and the variable institutions of variable LS system pump in flow adjusting principle were introduced in detail, Detailed introduce the basic principle of the valve controlled load sensitive and pump-control load sensitive, and then introduces the future of hydraulic systems of engineering machinery in development trend.Secondly, a simulation model of load sensitive variable pump is established by the AMESim with hydraulic HCD library. The influence of system the LS load sensitive valve spring stiffness size, whether damping hole exists are studied. This paper designs three kinds of hydraulic system, each system pump export have a throttle valve, and two working state is setting for it. A kind of circumstance is to assume the throttle valve port opening a certain angle and load changes, another kind is to make a throttle valve mouth change, given constant load, analysis the matching situation of pressure,flow and external load of hydraulic pump. Finally, Based on the simulation curve linear is calculated to get the power loss and efficiency of three systems, through contrast getting the result that load sensitive system has the minimum power loss, the variable pump LS system power matching is optimal.and the highest efficiency. The system can greatly improve the efficiency, It provides the reference for engineering machinery Energy-saving design.
