With the development of embedded technology and network, industrial equipment developed from the bus-based remote control to internet-based remote control. As a common use industrial equipment, stepping motor is used in many industrial areas. It is significant for industrial production to improve stepping motor system performance,and it is also much necessary that the stepping motor's remote control be used in wide rang of unsuitable to access areas such as Nuclear power plant or far department.In order to improve stepping motor operating performance, the dissertation focus on studying in the theory of fuzzy PID deeply. The main two kinds of fuzzy PID controller were analysed. On this basis, the paper designed a improved version of stepping motor adaptive fuzzy PID controller. Stepping motor's fuzzy PID control system was simulated and compared by MATLAB/Simulink. Experiments verified that the constructed fuzzy PID controller is an ideal control method.In order to achieve Internet-based remote control of stepping motor systems, Linux open source as the system software platform, ARM development board as the hardware platform, dissertation port the bootloader, kernel, root file system and the network card driver for remote control, all of that are necessary for embedded stepping motor systems. Then dissertation built a remote control system based B/S mode, transplants the boa server(web), compile the cgi gateway program to realize interaction between web form and the server data, transplant telnet which implements remote login function. The key work is the realization of the stepper motor's driver and applications program in Linux by S3C2440's PWM function, studying the stepping motor speed curve of increasing frequency and designing an approximation algorithm of exponential speed curve. Finally, the designed stepping motor remote control system was tested in a laboratory environment, the results show that the stepping motor remote control system is stable, while the motor is starting and accelerating, there is no out-of-step or oscillation.
