| In this dissertation,an Elevator Monitoring System Based on Embedded Linux is proposed as well as designed. This system is developed based on high performance embedded processor and embedded Linux. By this system we can monitor the status of elevators all over the world through Internet.In chapter 1,a comprehensive description about the significance of the research work is given. The current research status of remote elevator monitoring system,embedded system,and embedded Linux is also described.In chapter 2,the functions of this system are discussed in detail. Automatic alarm and remote monitoring by Internet are key functions.In chapter 3,a description about the developping environment and programming techniques are given. The hardware is designed based on embedded processor,while the software is designed based on embedded Linux. Multi-Thread technique,socket-programming and device driver are main techniques used in the system.In chapter 4,the software design of the system are discussed in detail. The software is composed of real-time module,network communication module,serial communication module,device driver module,and so on.In chapter 5,the main research conclusion is summarized. The prospect of further research is also proposed. |
