Requirement analysis of system ability index of weapon & equipment system-of-systems is intended to find comprehensive range of system ability indices which meet requirement. As long as the system ability indices of weapon & equipment system-of-systems values are in the range, the values of the system ability indices meet the requirement. The study is of great theoretical value to the weapon & equipment system-of-systems design and demonstration.Current requirement analysis of system ability index of Weapon & Equipment system-of-systems methods main are exploratory analysis and super-box method. the former needs large computation, and the other needs the system ability indices monotone and computational complexity. This paper proposes a method of requirement analysis of system ability index of weapon & equipment system-of-systems based on SVM which can effectively solve the requirement analysis of system ability index of weapon & equipment system-of-systems problem. The main researches are as following:Firstly, introduce the fundamentals of SVM, analysis of the equal mistake rate requirement method in detail, and propose none equal mistake rate requirement method. such used as the basic of theory and method for this paper.Secondly, for the purpose of reducing the deficiency of equal mistake rate requirement method with random samples, this paper proposes requirement method based on design of experiment. Orthogonal design and uniform design are the main design of experiment methods. Comparing the two method through uniformity, in this paper we choose uniform design; according to the characteristics of SVM hyperplane fitting (sample points closer from the hyperplane have greater impact on hyperplane), propose sequential design experimental method of factorial design combined with uniform design, and example shows that the method efficiency in classification. A typical test example analysis shows that compared with exploratory approach and super-box method, this method can reduce computation at least one quantity magnitude. Finally, the proposed none equal mistake rate method is successfully used for one requirement analysis of system ability index of air-defense and anti-missile system of systems. This paper summarizes its innovation and works, and conceives the further research in the future.
