With the improvement of technology and construction of curtain walls,it has been used extensively in the public buildings,such as airport,exhibition center,station,etc.. Glass roof is used insome roof of buildings. But there are a lot of technological difficult problems demanding prompt solution.The technology of dot point glass roof will be perfect gradually through further theoretical research and project being practised. This paper study the supporting system structural behavior node form and construction process of glass roof for promoting the research and application of it.On the basic of classsifying and analysing the probable supporting structures of glass roof,new-type Beam String Structure using in long-span glass roof is brought forward and the thought and schemes of improvement are advanced.Beam String Structure needs determine the initial geometry in zero state and initial prestressing force distribute geometry before analysing.This text pointed out the difference from determining the shape of BSS to form-finding or force-finding of membrane structure. Three methods that are approximate arithemeti inverse iteration and trial means have put forward.Then three methods have been applied for analysis of a example successfully. Model of computation has been given,the infection from height-span prestress of cables height of pivot section of beam ect..And space BSS has been brought forward,some conclusions have been given.The paper has disgussed the methods of strengthing space structure and glass roofs stiffenss.Then has analyzed the rationality of supporting structure of glass roof. According as the existing nodes,new nodes have been given.Resisting sllippage is tested simply,node conformation has been amended.The thesis analyze a on-the-spot test model combining a projiect.Utilizing the non-linear finite element theory in the article,form-finding has been took apart with node balanced laws and propping up move law.Under the loads every calbe unit strength of axle and node displacement's variation tendencies are computed. The optimum design values ofprestressing force have carried on,The course of construction has been carried on. Simulated.The article has studied some problems of glass roof,solution scheme has put forward.
