Study On The Basement's Property Of Resisting Nuclear Explosion And The Functions Conversion During Wartime And Peacetime

Generally speaking, the civil air defense works in China are not sufficient and the quality is poor, so they are difficult to meet the needs during wartime. This paper focuses on the ordinary basements, which have a large quantity, makes a study on their property of resisting nuclear explosion and further inquires into the method of converting them into civil air basements. Under the new situation, in order to develop civil air defense connected with city construction, it is a new issue to research its function of ordinary basement during wartime. As far as the situation of our country and the trend of civil air defense works in the world are concerned, it is worth reconstructing the ordinary basement just before war.This paper analyzes the action of air shock wave and compressive wave in oil to the basement structure, and confirms the shock wave shape and each parameter. Then it emphasizes on the dynamic loads that act on the basement structure. Aimed at the basement structure form, the strength checking method of components that are under the action of different grades civil air loads is promoted. The formula checking the explosive resistance of the flat slab-column structure and beam-slab structure can be used to constitute conversion project.From the calculating example, the following conclusion can be made. When the ordinary basements act as people shelters during wartime, the column , outside wall and bottom floor satisfy the civil air requirement; however ,the strength of beam and slab of coping is evidently deficient. So this paper summarizes and puts forward several methods to reinforce and reconstruct the main body, and detail correlative construction technique, then makes a compare between these methods. When the ordinary basements are converted to air defense use, these calculating-methods, construction crafts can be referred.
