Power Plant Geographic Information System Study Based On Web Technology

This paper analyzed the feature of the power plant's pipe and link installation in the underground. The meanings and purposes what developed the power plant Geographic Information System was put forward. The theory of Geographical Information System was accurately described and the principle and implement's ways of Web GIS were also introduced. Simultaneously, MapXtreme was specifically described. On the basis, the power plant's Geographic Information System on Web technology was designed and developed. Through studying the three layer soft structure of B/S model, the application of ASP in Web GIS, connection technology of Web and database, the implement what spatial data was in database and so on, the power plant's pipe and link installation in the underground were visible managed,The system provided decision-making support and scientific administration means for the management of the power plant.
