Study On Applied Software And USB Interface Of Micro Fiber Spectrometer Used In Biochemical Analysis

Spectrometer is an important optical instrument. It is widely used in various areas of science and technology. USB interface and applied software of micro fiber spectrometer are studied. The tasks are to establish an integrated software and hardware system of USB collection and transmission of micro fiber spectrometer and software system for the purpose of biochemical analysis.The developments of computer interface and applied software for spectrometer are analyzed. It's the same to the theory and structure of biochemical analysis system. The principle of object oriented design of Windows applied software and the design method of USB interface are introduced.Visual Studio.NET Integrated Compile Environment is used to develop the software of micro fiber spectrometer, which realizes the function of collecting, analyzing, processing, and displaying of spectra. The software use for biochemical analysis is achieved with fine effect.According to the characteristics of the micro fiber spectrometer system an appropriate controller and its development kit are selected. The framework of USB interface system is established and the circuit produced. The firmware of EZ-USB with the function of collecting, the whole image frame transmission and setting of integral time is established. The USB device driver with the function of downloading firmware and responding USB transmission is established. The applied program with the function of communication and control is established.One theory and arithmetic "dual filter scan" of seeking peak in spectral analysis is brought forward and used for demarcate of spectrum and other analysis. One test method for transmission speed of USB interface is brought forward and the problem of transmission speed bottle-neck of the spectrometer system is solved according to the result.Each parts of the micro fiber spectrometer are packaged in a little metal box. One end of the box is connected to the optics processing system with fiber and the other end of the box is connected to computer with USB wire. The whole applied software system is established with USB device driver packet and applied software setup packet. The driver need only be installed one time in the same operating system, realizing the plug and play and hot plug indeed. The applied software can be setup on any computer with Microsoft Windows operating system and USB interface, including notepad for mobile work.
