With the development of our country, the demand for the electricity is greater and greater between all trades and professions, unbalanced phenomenon of different time power consumption is serious day by day too. In order to alleviate the sharp electric imbalance between supply and demand of our country, regulate the load curve, improve the unbalanced phenomenon in power consumption, "sharpen peak fill out valley", to improve power consuming efficiency, to rationally utilize electric energy of the whole country. Because the traditional measuring instrument just has only one function: metering. What's more, it has little to do with security and dependability, the precision does not match people's needs. So the task of my work is to design a digital single-phrase electric power measure instrument with subsection fee rate. It is not only used for metering, but also can be programmed for special use, such as changing fee rate, communication. And it has many strong points: the precision is very exactitude, the EMC has a better performance. In addition, low power, long life, easy fix are all its merit. The CPU is PIC16C67, which is manufactured by Microchip. The key part is ADE7755, it is a power energy metering IC with pulse output. There is no mechanical part, so the dependability is extremely good. This design keeps to GB/T15284-1994 and DL/T614-1997.
