This design through the wireless communication way, using the now mature GPRSnetwork, design a set of low construction cost, accurate data transmission, adapt to thecomplex environment of GPRS remote multi-rate meter reading system. The system can notonly solve the manual meter reading work efficiency low, leakage to copy, appraise copiesand security hidden danger question and so on, but also can improve the management of theelectric power department. Can save manpower and improve work efficiency, to achieve thepeak power dispatching real-time data, and to improve the electric energy meteringmanagement level to provide accurate, efficient, safe data information.The system comprises two parts, namely, building electric energy informationacquisition system and meter reading system of management center. The building electricenergy information acquisition system is composed of intelligent meter and data acquisitionsystem is composed of two parts. Intelligent electric meter using set electric energy dataacquisition module of ESP430and MCU in one single electric energy acquisition chipMSP430FE427as the core, and combined with the external clock module DS1302, consistedof NE555infrared emitting module, SOTO1738constitute the infrared receiving module,MAX485. RS485, LCD1602communication module of a liquid crystal display module and apower module for intelligent meter design, completion of the active electric energy dataacquisition and multi-rate settlement as well as the electric energy information display andelectric power data transmission. Data collector module using cost-effective8bit single chipAT89C55as the microprocessor, and external memory expansion of24LC08acquisitionparameters and data storage and management, by using real time clock module ofDS1302electric energy meter data timing copy. Through the AT89C55internal timer analogserial interface, to achieve RS485master-slave communication mode and a plurality of electricenergy meter network. Through the AT89C55chip inherent to a serial interface and GPRSDTU to connect, will collect the electric energy data through GPRS sent to the network meterreading management center.Meter reading management center using VISUAL BASIC language development,combined with Shenzhen Hong electric company’s GPRS DTU development kits, through thenetwork correspondence programming technology and ACCESS database, realize the electricenergy meter and the collector parameter settings as well as on electric energy remote datacollecting and management.Through the Agilent33220A function generator generates a reference power signal,transmits the acquired power data is modified, the modified active electric energy error can be controlled within0.7%. The final debugging shows that the system can complete remotemeter reading and charge of electricity rate billing and other functions, has certain advantages,can provide the electricity sector reading provides a set of effective solutions.
