Study On Urban Streetscaping Design With Characteristics Of Regionalism And Culture

There are a lot of historical, cultural and famous cities in China. The enchantment of famous cities shows the difference between areas and environment. Meanwhile an animating city should have its own characteristics. Therefore, the areas and environment should be demonstrated fully when the urban streetscapeing is to be considered.Xi'an, with an important historical position in Chinese history had been a capital of thirteen dynasties. Structure development and street pattern have been built up such as "checkerboard form" and "Jing Tian form". Roads are wide flat and straight which shows in neat formation of structure and magnificent of manner in Tang and Han ChangAn city. During the developmental period of the city, the traditional structure has been changed enormously. Under the guidance of city planning, the spatial contexture of the streets should continue the historical unity and coherence in writing and show the traditional structure and also solute contradiction appropriately between the modernizational constructions and inheriting traditions. Creating environment should show the regional, cultural and epochal characteristics of Xi'an.The conception of characteristics of the regional culture is led to urban streetscapeing design. In the meantime the theory and method of interior and periphery country are applied. Hence the basic better culture to develop the city continually is explored. And also the theory has been proved which is exposed the city districted. Through the city designing of districted and cultural, landscape passageways with the distinguishing future of Xi'an are created, rhythmus city order is built, and space quality and human natural environment has been proved. Consequently, the place is; provided where people can feel the spirit of districted and cultural.Facing on the truth, focusing on finding the common points between traditional culture and modernizational life, keeping investigating unity between city streets' artistic style and modernization technology, the aim of the project is to create cultural scrumptious and unique styles and structure new Xi'an city ofYanTa Road which has its own characteristics.
