Performance of running vehicle not only depends on motor but also depends on transmission and the matching between transmission and motor at large extent. With the fast development of electronic technique and automatic control technique, the technique of automatic transmission is getting perfect and it's form is various, having been used in lots of vehicles, at present it is one marking of development of modern car and industry of modern car. Dry-type mixture CVT is perfect driving unit for economic-type passenger cars. CVT has many merits, such as compact configuration, excellent performance, easy electric control and so on. The development of dry-type multiple CVT control unit has validated important science & technology key problems of nation in 2003.Before the control strategy is established, the control effect on the transmission by the mathematical model of the CVT controlling system is extremely important. At first Matiz-II car produced by DaYu Company in Korea is consulted, and this type of CVT is adopted . At the beginning, the signal not having entered into the TCU is inspected while the car is running on the basis of not knowing about the TCU. Then a kind of real-time collecting system is developed according to the necessary signals. Then the relations among engine speed, input-axis speed, throttle open degree, and speed ratio is deserved.This paper builds control strategy based on three parameters (speed of car, rate change of speed of car, opening of throttle) and designs hardware part of CVT system composed with CPU, pulse input -trap circuit, analog input circuit, I/O input circuit , drives of electric magnetic clutch, power supply circuit , communication circuit and so on...High reliability in communication betweendifferent electronic controlling modules is realized by using the mode of CAN communication, common information in CAN net not only decreases wiring, cost but also increases reliability. Control strategy involved in this paper, which can make motor stably running at low speed in starting process can decrease initiative time and initiative attack. Subdivision control, look-up table, PID and fuzzy control are adopted in control of velocity ratio motor, which can make motor running at optimal high efficiency work space and can increase stability of working motor, decrease consumption of fuel and waste gas pollution and can make motor working in most economic oil consumption while the motor change with speed and torque. The flat and comfort of car is realized in compare with original car .At the same time new car exceeds original car in accelerating ability, which reaches expected result.
