In China, with the enlarged scope of enrolment, the students' living environment becomes a focus point. And with the socialized reform of logistic service in the university and college, it has been sure for making use of socialized students' accommodation to relieve the students' dwelling press. How to solve the students' accommodation problem brought about by the socializing way makes people in all kinds of fields to search the answers from their own opinoins.With the development of the university students' residence, more and more various architectural modes appare to accommodate students, such as dormitory, apartment, community, and marketable house. Based on the socialization, the dissertation analyse the community management and spacial design of students' residence in our universities, which is greatly influenced by the experiences from excellent works abroad and internal. The further specific principle of construction in the gial of satisfing the students' demands both on substance and culture is the purport of the research.Depending on analyses of university students' actual condition both mental and physical, the dissertation discusses the factors of students' community plan, cluster organizing way and living unit style from macroscopically to microscopically. Comprehensively, there are four principles stressing socialization and humanization established for this type of architecture,which are elastic increase, natural design, characteristic plan, and home-like plan.Finally, some tentative designs to build or rebuild are operated which applies the corresponding principles summed up. In this way, a bright developing tendency can be figured out of socialized management, characteristic plan, cultural construction, flexible organization, and multi-participation.
