The Research Of Portable EEG Test

Up till now, EEG (Electroencephalogram) testing can only be conducted in the laboratory. It is difficult to measure and store digitally electric signals from the brain on line. A portable EEG test is designed in this paper. EEG signal can be displayed, recorded and analyzed. Experiments are also done on the test and the signals are analyzed.The testing system is consisted of two parts. One part is to collect, amplify and deal signals. The other part is the stimulator of sound and pictures whose models can be changed. The signal process of the study is realized on the Lab VIEW.In this article, the principle of EEG testing, the structure of the hardware and the soft of the test, and the data analyzing are discussed in detail. The experiments on the portable test are compared with those on the NDI-200, and the result proves that the portable test is practicable.
