With the leap-type, hypernormal development of Huo coal group, the quantity of extractive equipment namely WK-10B excavator which our company uses is increasing constantly. The influence of WK-10B excavator trouble on the real moving rate of the equipment becomes more outstanding day by day. It influences the coal production output and the overhauling cost directly. The bucket rod is one of the important parts of WK-10B excavator, its fracture trouble occupies sizable proportion in the trouble.This text starts from the fatigue life of bucket rod. Systematically carried out the Neo-Connicianism analyse on the bucket rod, studied the the crackle expansion laws, utilized the finite element law to carry on dependability analysis and thus confirmed the dangerous section of the bucket rod. At the same time went on welding analysis on the bucket rod material. In the end made the corresponding repair craft according to the structure of the bucket rod.
